I’ve made countless easy recipes over the years, and let me tell you, this copycat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole has become a serious favorite! Cracker Barrel always has a line out the door – and honestly, who has time for that? Not me, LOL!

But I just love their Hashbrown Casserole! So, I recreated it at home. This recipe is the perfect go-to meal for busy weeknights or anytime you need a delicious dinner you can assemble in minutes. I’m betting your family will love it just as much as mine does! Even the picky eaters love it!

Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole Ingredients

All you’ll need for this copycat Cracker Barrel hashbrown casserole is:

  • shredded
  • defrosted hashbrowns
  • melted butter
  • a can of cream of chicken soup
  • light sour cream
  • one cup of chopped onion
  • one garlic clove
  • minced, shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • chopped parsley – I used the chopped parsley for garnish, so it’s totally up to you to add it to your dinner!

How to Make Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole

  1. To make this copycat Cracker Barrel hashbrown casserole, first, you’ll need to preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the defrosted hashbrowns, chopped onions, minced garlic, melted butter, one cup of shredded cheese, light sour cream, and a can of cream of chicken soup.

3. Bake the Casserole

Once everything has been mixed together, add the mixture to an oiled 9×13 pan and spread the mixture into an even layer. Top the mixture with your remaining cheese, and place the casserole in the oven. Let the dish bake for 40 minutes. Ingredients 

  • 32 ounces shredded hashbrowns, defrosted
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, (10.5-ounce can)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded colby jack cheese
  • Chopped parsley, (optional, for garnish)
  • 16 oz Light Sour Cream

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • In a large bowl, mix together hashbrowns, chopped onions, minced garlic, melted butter, 1 cup shredded cheese, sour cream, and one can of cream of chicken soup.
