St. Patrickโ€™s Day Celebration

The countdown to St. Patrickโ€™s Day is on! I love being able to celebrate this holiday with my family and friends, and most importantly I love being able to celebrate with green! Itโ€™s super fun to get into the spirit, and making everything with a green twist makes the celebrations even more fun! The kids usually have parties at school, so I love to have them go in with some green treats to share with their friends, but with limited time during the week, I love doing something super quick, yet still fun and festive like these Chocolate Dipped Oreos!

Holiday Desserts

For every school party, Charlie and Claire want to bring something they make to the party, so having this easy recipe that the kids can help with is a win in my book! There are only a few ingredients, and the kids can get creative and decorate the Oreos how they like. These little treats do not take long at all! This is the perfect dessert for your kid’s classrooms or for any other type of St. Patrick’s Day party you’re getting ready for! They’re so fun and festive, the recipe is so easy to make, and you can make a lot all at once!ย

How to Make Chocolate Dipped Oreos

First, melt the white chocolate chips and the green candy melts in two separate bowls in the microwave. Set a timer for 30-second intervals and stir the melting chocolate in between until the candy is melted. Then, dip half of each Oreo into the chocolate and sprinkle each with green sprinkles. Once they are decorated, let them cool for 20 minutes, and then they are ready to be served!

This is one of the major things I have in common with the kids: wanting to bring a fun dessert to celebrations! I love being able to celebrate these holidays, but these little treats can also be used to celebrate the everyday. Who says chocolate dipped Oreos are just for special occasions?!
