OMG I have been on my toes waiting to share this party post with you guys for weeks!!!! I am so excited to team up with Lauren Conrad to reveal Claire’s Twinkle Twinkle Little Star party! From gold confetti stars to pink star cookie favors, I cannot wait to reveal the magical party details with you!

A pastel pink and silver-themed party setup with balloons, a cake with a moon topper, pink drinks, popcorn in pink boxes, star-shaped decorations, and bowls of candy on a white table.

Can I just start by saying; I canโ€™t believe Claire is two!! Iโ€™m probably going to be saying that for every age, every single year for the rest of her life! ;) Time just moves so quickly…too quickly! ;) I am so grateful to have this blog as a place to document some of my favorite moments and to look back on them. Iโ€™m sure in a few years Iโ€™ll be looking back at this post and wondering where on earth time has gone too! ;)

A young child sits on a soft pink chair, wearing a colorful polka-dotted outfit with a bright pink bow. They hold a star-shaped wand and have a playful expression, with one foot playfully raised.

I decided to throw Claire a twinkle twinkle little star party because it was the first song she ever sang. I also have to gush how much I love that stars can be both so feminine and so sweet. To this day, she sings her song every single chance she can get.

Now, let’s talk details – I was SO excited to find this pink chair and sequin star wand from Land of Nod. The magic is in the details, right?!

A pink frosted cake with a gold moon decoration sits on a white cake stand. Gold stars and sprinkles adorn the cake. In the background, gold star decorations are on a white wall. Pink plates and a pink popcorn container are nearby.

Of course we had to team up with Mui of Muiโ€™s Sweet Creations again. She creates such incredible cakes, and this adorable (and delicious) moon cake was no exception! Once we took plenty of photos of it and sang happy birthday, it was gone in minutes!!

A woman, a young child, and a boy celebrate a birthday. The woman holds a large silver balloon shaped like the number two. The child sits on a pink chair, wearing a white outfit with colorful dots, and reaches for the balloon. The boy sits beside them.

My silver sequin party dress was from Target and Claire’s confetti outfit and gold shoes are from Gymboree. The silver ‘2’ balloon, along with most of the other dessert table decor, is from Party City!!

A pink star-shaped cookie on a stick is wrapped in clear plastic and tied with a pink ribbon. A tag reads Olivias 2nd Birthday in cursive. Scattered gold stars decorate the white background.

I found these birthday party printables from Etsy for only $5. I attached them to each cookie as a favor for her friends to take home with them. If you’re looking for a perfect sugar cookie recipe that won’t lose its shape, you have to try my favorite sugar cookie recipe of all time. I cut out pink fondant with the same cookie cutter as the star cookies. I added a little bit of frosting between the cookie and the pink fondant to give it that “smooth” look. ;)

Three pairs of marshmallow rice treats shaped as 2, some dipped in pink frosting, are arranged vertically on a white surface. Small gold stars are scattered around them.

Claire loves Rice Krispie treats, so I used a number 2 cookie cutter to tie in the party theme. I tinted melted white chocolate light pink and dipped in each treat halfway. Claire is totally a little “girly girl,” so I was extra excited to be able to incorporate pink and glitter into this bash!

Three glass bowls filled with pastel pink, hot pink, and lavender candies. Each bowl has star-shaped cookies on sticks, wrapped in clear bags with tags. Gold star decorations are scattered on the table and wall.

Let’s talk about sprucing up the dessert table!! Party City has these AMAZING shimmery pastel jelly beans. I also got the candy display containers from there too. They are perfect for dessert tables! And in case you’re wondering how many jelly beans to buy, I only had to use one plastic container of each color of jelly beans to completely fill each candy display container. It was also such an easy way to display the pink star cookie favors.

A young boy in a navy shirt and jeans sits on a pink chair, hugging a toddler in a colorful polka dot outfit with a pink bow tie. The toddler wears gold shoes and smiles. Part of a silver balloon is visible in the background.

This picture of Charlie and Claire ended up making it to the front cover of our Christmas cards this year. I looooooove the bond these two have. If only Charlie knew the bond he would have when we announced on BFFF that he was going to be a big brother. ;)

A festive setup with a pink and gold theme features a cake with a crescent moon topper, gold star decorations on the wall, pink and metallic balloons, popcorn, and pink plates on a white table.

In case you’re wondering, almost all of the items displayed on our dessert table were from Party City! The shimmery jelly beans were one of my all-time favorite finds! I plan to go back for more to add to future blog posts this year.

Four pink cups with purple rock candy sticks inside are arranged on a light surface. Small gold star decorations are scattered nearby. An orange container is blurred in the background.

For extra party fun, I put purple rock candy in purple party cups. I love the shape of these. And I poured my favorite pink frothy punch recipe with edible gold stars floating on top.

To tie in the twinkle twinkle little star party theme, I placed wooden gold star stickers on the outside of these popcorn containers. I was so excited to find them in pink!!

And a party is not complete without pizza, right?! We ordered some DELICIOUS pizza from Pizza Guys. We actually had Pizza Guys at Charlie’s ocean party too! Did I mention they make a taco pizza?! If you have a party, your guests will thank you for ordering it. It became quite the conversation starter for us. Everyone was so excited to try it as it was the first of 6 pizzas to go lightening fast. But I do have to admit, their Hawaiian pizza is my favorite! ;) Claire loved the cheese pizza!

Another highlight of the day was this pink teepee from Land of Nod. Claire had so much fun playing in there. Charlie loved it too! Iโ€™m OBSESSED with the pastel pink floral details! It has a 70s vibe and fits so well into her room!

Thank you so much for joining us virtually for Claire’s Twinkle Twinkle Little Star party! This was such fun and and one of the best parties I’ve had the pleasure of designing. Claire was so happy with it, and I love that we will have these photos from the AMAZING Ashley Baumgartner to look back on and remember it for a lifetime!
