Fall is here, and with that comes fall decorating! If you’re looking for front porch décor ideas, look no further. I am so excited to share multiple ways to decorate your porch for fall all in one!
Fall Porch Decor Ideas
Just 3 generations of pumpkin spice drinking girls on October 1st! Full disclosure: the pugs don’t count, those are my parent’s other babies. ;) Fall has always been my favorite season and Halloween is one of my top favorite holidays! My mom always made it so special for us growing up. She would decorate the house with Halloween decorations, fill the candy dishes with candy corn, and always made home feel so festive for the holidays. My dad was as cute as a bug’s ear! He would decorate the front yard with decorations and many families looked forward to seeing his lawn display every year. I loved that he always let me help. Holidays mean so much to me, but the Fall-a-Yays (just made that up) are my favorite! We started a new yearly tradition to decorate my parent’s porch. We had so much fun putting together some of my favorite finds from Balsam Hill. I am secretly obsessed with them since they make all the Christmas trees for all the Hallmark movies. We own one as well and they’re amazing. But for now, it’s all about fall, and I am so excited to show you how to deck out the porch for fall in three different ways!
Halloween Porch Decor
We go pumpkin picking as a family every year, and I love to use the pumpkins we pick as decorations. Being able to make memories at the pumpkin patch and then include them in the decorations is always a win in my book! To start with the porch decorations, I used this door mat I found at Hobby Lobby, and I just can’t get over the pattern! I also added these Fairy Tale Pumpkin Wreaths on each of the doors to really make the porch feel ready for fall. I was so excited to find a piece I could use all through the fall, from Halloween to Thanksgiving!
Halloween Dog Decorations
This ghost dog porch decoration is my favorite Halloween decoration of all. Both Charlie and Claire LOVE the Ghost Dog too! They love how he is not only dressed and ready for Halloween, but how he is able to hold candy as well! I seriously can’t get over how cute he is! What do you think?
Fall Decorating
Claire had SO much fun helping me decorate for Fall! She placed the mini pumpkins on the porch to pull together the full Halloween look. Luckily, once Halloween is over, it’ll be easy to transition by just putting away the Ghost Dog! The rest is so perfect for fall, it can totally stay!
Halloween Decorations
For a little bit more of a Halloween touch, I fell in love with the Trick or Treat Banner that I hung on the wall outside of the doors. It is perfect for the future trick-or-treaters to be greeted with!! I also love the cute little witch flying on her broomstick. This is another one of those pieces that was so easy to put up with the rest of the decor, but once Halloween is over, it can be packed up, and it’s time to transition for fall and Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving Porch Decor
Once it’s time to transition into more fall decor, you can literally just keep the same fall decorations you added, but with a Thanksgiving touch! We added this cute “thanks” pumpkin stack and introduced a few lanterns for fall. The pumpkins are also the perfect fall, harvest touch to stay all season long!
Fall Leaves
When I first saw these Autumn Leaves Lantern I knew I had to get them. I love how these lanterns have foliage on them and how they fit both the fall and Halloween look. I used these for the beginning stages of porch decorating for Halloween, and then they can totally stay the rest of fall! So easy and cute!
Front Porch Decorations
Finding the perfect fall front porch decorations helps make everyone in the neighborhood excited for the holidays. I love being able to spread holiday cheer with everyone, and these decorations definitely helped get us fully in the fall and Halloween spirit over here! How do you decorate your front porch?! Do you do something totally different for each season? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments below!
