My Tried and True Fruit Christmas Tree

This Fruit Christmas Tree has been one of my most-loved holiday dessert ideas for years! It’s been pinned, shared, and recreated more times than I can count. And honestly, it’s no surprise.

People Geniunely LOVE this Christmas Fruit Tree

Whether you call it a fruit Christmas tree, an edible Christmas tree, or a grape Christmas tree, this little showstopper always steals the spotlight. This Christmas dessert is so easy to make and always gets the biggest reactions. People genuinely LOVE it!

This Christmas Tree Dessert Doubles as a Snack and a Centerpiece

It’s true! This Christmas fruit tree doubles as the cutest holiday snack and a centerpiece all in one. BTW, if you’re looking for an adorable Christmas table setting idea, don’t miss this absolutely adorable Snowman Christmas Table Setting I did last Christmas.

How to Put Together a Fruit Christmas Tree

This grape Christmas tree is so much easier to make than it looks! Just wrap a styrofoam cone in Saran Wrap, stick your grapes onto toothpicks, and arrange them from biggest at the bottom to smallest at the top for that perfect tapered tree shape.

I added the star cocktail pic at the top but you could also use a mini star cookie cutter and slice pineapple if you want that whole fruit Christmas tree effect.

Believe it or not, I used about 4 pounds of grapes to make this grape Christmas tree.

A hand dips a grape with a toothpick into a bowl of crushed nuts on a red and white checkered tablecloth, creating the perfect bite for a festive fruit Christmas tree or easy Christmas dessert. Nearby sit a plate of grapes and another bowl.

What to Serve with Your Christmas Grape Tree

Serve with mini bowls of caramel and nuts… or if you’re one of those people who feel like nuts get in the way (oh hi, dad!) just skip the nuts completely, and it instantly becomes a simple two-ingredient dessert. Totally up to you!

A white cone, green grapes, chopped nuts, toothpicks, caramel sauce, and a gold star are arranged on a red and white checkered cloth to create a festive fruit Christmas tree—perfect as a whimsical Christmas dessert.

What You need to Make a Grape Christmas Tree

Ingredients

• Grapes (I used 4 pounds — mixing red and green looks extra festive!)
• Caramel (store-bought or homemade)
• Crushed nuts (totally optional)

Supplies

styrofoam cone
• Plastic wrap (place over the styrofoam cone)
• Toothpicks (to hold the grapes in place on the cone)
• A star for the top (cookie cutter, edible star, or anything cute!)

Toothpick Reminder

A quick reminder… this Fruit Christmas Tree with Grapes is held together with toothpicks, so let guests know before diving in, especially if kiddos are around. You could also display a note card with your holiday appetizer.

The Cutest Christmas Trees Are the Ones You Can Eat

Well, at least in this case! 😉 And this Fruit Christmas Tree is a fantastic Christmas dessert idea to serve at a holiday party. And speaking of edible Christmas trees (lol), I even made a Dill Pickle Christmas Tree appetizer too! I might need to stop playing with my food! 😉
