Holiday Traditions

Can you believe the holiday season is already here? It’s always my favorite time of the year! Who’s with me?! Did you know Best Friends For Frosting all started based on holiday traditions? My mom and I would make an Easter bunny cake every year. You know the one! We’d add the coconut for fur, licorice for whiskers, and jelly beans for the eyes.

With red manicured nails, a person holds a bag of Tastykake Frosted Mini Donuts. The festive blue and white design complements an image of chocolate mini donuts. Sporting a green top, they capture the essence of holiday cheer—reminiscent of tiny santa hats nestled in their treat.

I looked forward to making that cake every single Easter and keeping that tradition going, and it eventually led to me finding so much joy in making fun recipes for my family and decorating for every holiday when I became a mom!

Semi-Homemade Desserts

If you love semi-homemade recipes that take no time at all, then this is definitely for you sister! And an even better bonus? You’ll only need three simple ingredients to pull it off! By using Frosted Mini Donuts as the base, you can put these festive no bake Santa Hat treats together truly in just minutes.

Two hands decorate mini chocolate donuts with white frosting on a wooden board, resembling little Santa hats. A plate of whole donuts and a bowl of strawberries add festive flair nearby. The person, sporting red nail polish and a green sleeve, brings holiday cheer to the scene.

We’re definitely going to be making these Santa Hats as a tradition for Christmas every year. I’m so excited to show you just how to make them!
