Looking for the easiest holiday dessert? Make the holidays merrier with these festive no bake Santa Hats!
Can you believe the holiday season is already here? It’s always my favorite time of the year! Who’s with me?! Did you know Best Friends For Frosting all started based on holiday traditions? My mom and I would make an Easter bunny cake every year. You know the one! We’d add the coconut for fur, licorice for whiskers, and jelly beans for the eyes.
I looked forward to making that cake every single Easter and keeping that tradition going, and it eventually led to me finding so much joy in making fun recipes for my family and decorating for every holiday when I became a mom!
If you love semi-homemade recipes that take no time at all, then this is definitely for you sister! And an even better bonus? You’ll only need three simple ingredients to pull it off! By using Tastykake Frosted Mini Donuts as the base, you can put these festive no bake Santa Hat treats together truly in just minutes.
Tastykake has been in business since 1914 and I love their dedication to continuing family legacies. We’re definitely going to be making these Santa Hats as a tradition for Christmas every year. I’m so excited to show you just how to make them!

Expert tip: Make this recipe even easier by using store-bought white icing!
Step 3: Slice the end off of the strawberries. Then, place the strawberry (cut side down) on top of the white icing. Be sure the pointed side points up!
Expert tip: Wash your strawberries ahead of time and let them air dry on a towel to avoid any moisture.
Step 4: Finish off your Santa hats with white icing on top of the strawberry.
With the holiday season approaching, I can’t wait to curl up with my favorite mug full of hot cocoa, and these will be the perfect treat to go with it. The kids love to do Christmas movie nights. It’s one of our favorite Christmas traditions! And I can’t wait to make these with them again and celebrate the season as a family. It’s truly the most wonderful time of the year!
