Angel Food Cake
With springtime comes fun, fruity desserts as we ease our way in to summer. People are starting to redecorate, they’re planting a garden, and they’re coming out to play in the sunshine more often during the day!
With springtime also comes a lot more entertaining at home. When the weather’s nice, we all want to host dinner parties or barbecues, inviting all of our family members and closest friends. We spend time decorating for the event, planning the menu, and getting set up and ready to go. And with all of this planning comes the need for the perfect dessert to share with all of those guests!
We recently made Kraft’s Angel Lush with Pineapple, and we’re ready to serve it multiple times this season! It’s light, fluffy, and incredibly flavorful. We couldn’t think of a better dessert to serve with a glass of sparkling lemonade or milk during a spring barbecue or dinner party.
We were so impressed at how this recipe came together simply in just a few minutes. It was so perfect and easy, giving us much more time for setting up and decorating!
Using a store-bought angel food cake, crushed pineapple, JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding, Cool Whip Whipped Topping, and fresh fruit, this springtime cake comes together in minutes.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the simplicity of this dessert, and the multiple options available to customize it and switch things up. The flavor of JELL-O Instant Pudding can be swapped out, or other fruit can be added. We had help in the kitchen from our little baker, and he suggested added bananas to the mix, so we went for it! The secret to making this perfect dessert is to add bananas to the Cool Whip for another great addition of fruit. With pineapple, strawberries, and bananas in the mix, this fluffy dessert is ideal for any springtime event.
