A festive dessert table features treats like decorated brownies, macarons, and cookies. Gift-themed cakes and colorful present boxes decorate the background, enhanced by a gold and red circular backdrop with bows.

Tessa of The Frosted Cake shop and I recently collaborated on a dessert table to showcase fun, festive treats with an approachable display. As you can see, all of the desserts are all wrapped up with bows. We wanted to play off the holiday tradition of gift giving and use bows on all of our treats.

A display of desserts and gift boxes on a table. There are pink macarons, sugar cookies with icing, small square cakes with red and purple bows, and stacks of red and purple gift boxes arranged aesthetically.

We both tend to favor chic, modern, and pastel displays but wanted to throw in a bit of whimsy and really glam up this setup. For the color palette, we chose bold reds and regal purples that were off-set by crisp white display pieces and details. We also brought in metallics and glitter to really dress everything up for the holidays.
