Easy Summer Desserts

I love the summertime. Seriously, it’s one of my favorite times of year! The summer is always jam-packed with activities, and I love being able to spend every day with the kids. It makes me so happy! Summer is also my favorite time for super quick and easy desserts, because there’s no way I want to be spending too much time in front of the oven! Having something that is not only easy to make, but doesn’t take long to assemble is key, and I’m so excited to share this recipe with you!

Strawberry Shortcake

One of my favorite summer treats is strawberry shortcake! It’s a summer staple in my family, so every year I have to make some! But if you’re like me, sometimes there’s not a lot of time to make an extravagant dessert. That’s why half-way homemade desserts are my favorite, and I love to find ways to switch up the traditional recipe just a bit! I decided to switch up the traditional recipe and make strawberry shortcake donuts instead. This recipe is perfect for a quick treat, and the kids can help assemble it as well! A total win-win in my book!
