Summer Snack Ideas

This summer has kicked off to a great start. But the days have been going by so quickly. Who else agrees?! I feel like one minute we are hanging out outside, and the next it’s time to think about dinner. That’s why I have been on the hunt for a SUPER easy and fun snack for the kids. And I think I just found your new favorite snack idea!

Easy Snack Ideas

Easy and attainable snack ideas are what I’m all about. Sometimes we get so busy during the day that we have to whip up a quick snack to eat before we keep on going! Don’t get me wrong, I love being able to make something special for the kids, but sometimes you just need a quick snack. And that’s okay! This mini recipe is honestly a lifesaver because I know it will be ready quickly and the kids will LOVE it.

Kids Snacks

All you will need for this snack is either the Mini Oreo Cups or the snack size Nilla Wafers bag, whipped cream, and cherries. That’s it! Or, you can use whatever snack pack you’d like! For the Oreo version, first take a few out and crush them. Add whipped cream to the top of the Oreos in the container, and then sprinkle the crushed Oreos on top of the whipped cream! For the Nilla Wafers, take a few out and put them to the side. Add whipped cream into the bag, and put the few Nilla Wafers on top. You can top these off with a cherry as well to make them extra special. Now they are ready to be served!

Fun Summer Ideas

We have been having SO much fun in the sun that I don’t want to ruin it by having to leave and make an elaborate snack! Sometimes there just isn’t time to bake an entire dessert. That’s why having a quick snack idea is always important. It means I get to spend as much time with the kids as I can and keep creating memories. And this is one snack I know the kids will smile about. Do you have a quick recipe that is always your go-to? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!

These are great ideas for no fuss,, treats that I can quickly “whip” up for my two great neices or my neighbor’s kids, who always sneak over when they want sour gummies or a sugar fix!🤫😂 I did think of 1 more add-in to the cookie cups(the mini wafers are in cups too!)just add half a pudding cup(vanilla,choc.,banana,etc.)
between the cookies and whip cream! Than for that extra touch that really hits my sweet tooth…a gummy worm atop the Oreo cup
    😋🪱Yum!!
