Looking for a fun dinner idea to spice up your routine? We love celebrating Taco Tuesday in our house with all of our favorite toppings!

Taco Party

Raise your hand if you’re looking for a super fun dinner idea the whole family will love?! Especially with how full each day seems to be around here, we’ve been throwing taco parties for the kids more often. And while that might sound like a lot of work, trust me, it’s not! Everything comes together so easily, and the kids say it’s the best night of the week. I’m so excited to share with you how to pull off a super fun Taco Night in the simplest way!

Making Tacos

I seriously love making tacos. I cannot get enough! They are super easy and are such a fun way to spice up your dinner routine! We love to put together huge spreads for the kids, and they’re always so impressed! Little do they know, it was super easy to put together. ;)

Taco Tuesday

The kids especially love when we all make tacos together. Making these memories of sitting around the table enjoying dinner is what it’s all about, and I’m so happy to be able to make taco night so special for all of us! We love doing this on Tuesday nights more than any other night of the week, and the kids love to scream “Taco Tuesday!” ;) But you can definitely put this feast together any other night of the week that works best for you!

Ingredients for Taco Night

To put together a taco feast for the kids, you’ll need Old El Paso™ Stand ‘n Stuff Shells and Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning. We love to include Traditional Refried Beans as a side. The Stand ‘n Stuff Shells are hands down our favorites because of their flat bottoms. It makes it so much easier for the kids to stuff their tacos without all of their toppings falling out! We also love to add ground beef, paired with Taco Seasoning, along with all of our favorite toppings! We love to add pico de gallo, guacamole, cotija cheese, shredded cheese, red onion, shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream, jalapeno, and limes into the mix for everyone to put together the perfect taco! But, you can certainly add other toppings your family will love.

How to Make Tacos

If you’re planning to make ground beef for your tacos, you’ll want to brown the beef and add in the taco seasoning. Follow the directions on the package to make sure you have deliciously seasoned meat. Then, follow the directions on the can of Old El Paso™ Traditional Refried Beans to heat them up. You’ll also want to dice up your onions and any other toppings you love. We love to put everything in separate bowls for easy assembly!

How to Assemble Tacos

Now comes the fun part! The kids LOVE being able to make their own tacos, and the Stand ‘n Stuff  taco shells make it so much easier! The bottom is flat, so they can set them on their plate and have fun with fillings. It’s so fun to watch how creative they get with their tacos each time, utilizing different fillings to make the perfect bite.

Easy Taco Recipe

If you know me, you know how much I love making an easy meal. Creating a dish that is simple and doesn’t take long to make means you get to spend more time with the kids. Creating fun party nights like these mean the most to me, because I know the kids love them so much. I especially love creating memories that will last a lifetime! Whether it’s Taco Tuesdays or Taco Nights at home, it’s the perfect dinner tradition to start with your family! Are you planning a Taco Tuesday soon? Tell me all about your favorite taco toppings in the comments below!
