These Bunny Cinnamon Rolls Make Easter Fun
I love making holidays special with simple, festive recipes, and these bunny cinnamon rolls are the perfect treat – they’re incredibly easy to prepare, unbelievably cute, and always a family favorite for Easter breakfast!
The best part? No need to bake from scratch; just grab a can of store-bought cinnamon rolls and get ready for some fun!
Ingredients
Here’s all you’ll need to make your cinnamon roll bunnies:
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls (with icing included)
- Pastel M&M’s (for decorating—mini ones work best for the eyes and nose!)
That’s it! Two ingredients, one super cute treat.
How to Make Cinnamon Roll Bunnies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F if using a nonstick cookie sheet).
- Unroll each cinnamon roll carefully and shape it into a bunny. Use part of the dough to make ears and the round part for the face.
- Place each bunny on an ungreased cookie sheet about 1–2 inches apart.
- Bake for 13–16 minutes, or until golden brown and baked through.
- Cool slightly, then drizzle with the included icing and get ready to decorate!
Decorate Your Cinnamon Roll Bunnies
Once the bunnies are frosted, it’s time for the fun part—decorating! We love adding pastel M&M’s for eyes and a little nose. You can even use mini chocolate chips or candy eyes if you want to get creative. Let the kids help, it’s the perfect hands-on activity that doubles as dessert prep.
Pro tip: Add a little extra icing to help the M&M’s stick in place!

Easter Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 can Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- Pastel M&M's
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F if you're using a nonstick cookie sheet). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Gently unroll each cinnamon roll, keeping about 1–2 inches of the center coiled to form the bunny face.
- Take the loose end of the dough and loop it around to create ears, pressing the end gently into the top of the face to secure it.
- Use your fingers to separate the loop in the middle, forming two distinct bunny ears. For a more realistic look, pinch the tops of each ear into a slight oval shape.
- Place each shaped bunny on the baking sheet, spacing them about 1–2 inches apart. Bake for 13–16 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Then, drizzle with the included icing.
- Finish by adding a pink or red M&M for the nose and white M&M’s for the eyes.
