These hot cocoa cookie cups are such a quick, festive cookie to make this holiday season. And the best part? There’s no baking required!

Holiday Traditions

Itโ€™s the most wonderful time of the year! Can you believe the holiday season is right around the corner?! This is hands down my favorite time of year to celebrate as a family and to make memories with the kids like my mom did with me when I was young! We would make so many festive cookies every year and sit down with mugs of hot cocoa to watch Hallmark movies, and I love being able to continue that tradition and introduce a new cookie to the kids every year.

This year? Hot Cocoa Cookie Cups just might become the new family favorite! I’m so excited to show you how to make them!

Easy Christmas Cookies

I’m a big fan of quick, easy holiday recipes like peppermint dip and marshmallow snowmen. They’re so simple to make, yet SO cute.

If you need another quick, cute holiday recipe, this is definitely the one for you this season. These are SO easy, youโ€™ll want to make them on repeat. And the best part? No baking required! You can grab all of the ingredients from the store to put together these semi-homemade treats in no time. Everyone you serve them to will think theyโ€™re so cute. And they taste just as good too! Itโ€™s just like taking a bite into a mug of hot cocoa.

To get started on making these festive cookies, grab all of your ingredients at the store first. Youโ€™ll need your favorite brownie bites, whether from a bakery, grocery store, or made at home. Next up, grab a container of marshmallow fluff, white frosting, a bag of mini marshmallows, and mini pretzels. The star of the show is the HERSHEYโ€™S KISSES Hot Cocoa With Marshmallows Chocolates that taste just like hot cocoa! Youโ€™ll also need red and green nonpareil sprinkles to top them off!

Step 1: First up, lay your brownie bites out on a flat surface. Then, mix together equal parts marshmallow fluff and white frosting in a small bowl. Transfer the frosting to a piping bag fitted with a round tip.

Step 2: Break a piece off of a mini pretzel for each brownie bite and add a small dot of the frosting mixture to each end. Insert the ends into the side of a brownie to resemble the handle of a mug.

Step 3: Pipe the marshmallow and frosting mixture on top of each brownie bite.

Step 4: Slice into the front of each HERSHEYโ€™S KISS to reveal the marshmallow inside. Place the HERSHEYโ€™S KISS on top of the frosting mixture.

Step 5: Add a mini marshmallow on top and then sprinkle with red and green sprinkles to finish it off.

Easy Dessert Idea

These fun and festive treats truly take no time at all to put together. By using store-bought brownie bites, itโ€™s the perfect hack to dress up a favorite dessert. Thereโ€™s certainly no shame in grabbing a box at the grocery store bakery, or you can use a boxed mix to make your own. Either way, youโ€™ll up the with the cutest hot cocoa mug cookies the whole family will love! Are you a big fan of cozying up with a mug of hot cocoa during the holiday season? I sure am!
