Some of you may remember ALLLLLLL my posts from the Museum of Ice Cream on my Instagram story. After following the pop up in New York and LA for more than a year, they FINALLY came to San Francisco. After learning that pre-sales of tickets sold out, I was SO grateful they invited our team for press night to experience the real deal in real life before they opened their doors!
From pink checkered floors to pink walls, this place felt like ALL my Pinterest boards in real life. It was SO cool to experience this. But do you want to know something EVEN cooler?
There was a pool of sprinkles!! This was the #1 feature that made me over the moon excited about the Museum of Ice Cream. They literally have a swimming pool filled with millions of sprinkles, a diving board, and heart shaped pool floats. It was so cool to walk through that pool. I took some videos. Wish I knew of a quick way to toss them into this blog post. ;)
It was SO hard to snag a spot on this diving board. ;) Perfect for Boomerangs, let me tell ya! ;)
THIS game was so fun! They had all these branded Museum of Ice Cream whipped cream canisters lined up. You toss the ring and try to get it around the top. In case you’re wondering, I didn’t win. ;(
SO fun bumping into Aww Sam at the event. If you’re not following her Instagram, you won’t regret it! ;)
And of course they had an ice cream bar! The walls were decked out with pink records that were named after dessert themed parodies from artist like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Justin Timberlake. One of the records said “Red Hot Chili Peppermints: Under the fridge” LOL
Kim couldn’t get enough of this Andy Warhol inspired banana swing.
And I am a sucker for photo booths. Here’s a quick shot of me, Kim, and Ally.
This was such a fun night! I know the Museum of Ice Cream will continue trucking until 2018. Rumor has it, the next pop of stop is Miami, Florida, so catch it while it’s hot… but not too hot because I don’t want your ice cream to melt! ;)
What a great blog.. Thank you so much for sharing, This is so pinkalishous???????????? Do you know where I can find these floor tiles for sale?
You bet! Wish I knew. I bet Museum Of Ice Cream would spill the sprinkles on where to score it!
OMG this post set my heart a flutter !!
Great post and adore your blog – thanks so much for the inspo and this is now firmly on my bucket list yay!!!
