I’ve been absolutely loving finding creative ways to infuse a bit of the Best Friends For Frosting spirit into all the holidays this year, and Christmas is no exception! Today we’re talking about my latest obsession on how to make these iridescent ornaments.


As you know, I’m ALWAYS into DIY-ing, but for some reason, I’m extra into making easy craft projects during the holidays! Some of my absolute favorite DIY projects have always come out of this time of year! There’s something so special about the holiday season and all of the magic that it holds. If you take a look at our Christmas tree you can easily tell that one of my most favorite things to put together are definitely shiny Christmas ornaments! P.S. Homemade ornaments are such a great little keepsake to bring out year after year. You can go the more personalized route by getting the kids involved by making homemade ornaments. Major bonus, you will create a sweet memory of this time in their life!

Or you can always make a Christmas decoration more chic for a themed tree! I’ve been loving the crisp white Christmas tree this year, and you know how much we love pastels over here at BFFF!


I thought the vibrant pastel paint colors would mix together perfectly in each iridescent Christmas ornament. These stylish ornaments are so easy to make and are sure to look completely unique! Glass iridescent ornaments


Step 1
Take the tops off of your ornaments.
Step 2
Squeeze your paint inside your ornament.
Step 3
Put the top back on.
Swirl or shake your ornament until your ornament is evenly covered with paint.

  2. Hello, I really want to make these gorgeous ornaments. I only see 4 steps though. Is there a trick to letting them dry or any other instructions? I tried to figure out how to watch the video but could not tell where to click.
