4th of July Desserts

Who’s ready to celebrate this 4th of July?! If you know me, you know how much I love celebrating, especially when it comes to festive holidays! That’s why the 4th of July is such a fun holiday for us. I love being able to share great food and desserts with our friends and family, and this year, I’m definitely bringing this light and fresh 4th of July Cake to the party!

Easy Dessert Recipes

This just might be my new favorite recipe, and it can be used for so many different holidays. It’s so simple and takes no time at all! I love when you can use store-bought desserts and pair it with at home decorations to truly make them special. That way, you can spend more time with your family instead of baking in the kitchen all day. It’s a win-win for this mom for sure, and it’s such a fun design that will leave your friends and family totally impressed!

Angel Food Cake Recipe

All you need for the recipe is a store-bought angel food cake, and you’re already halfway done with the dessert (or you could use a mix or make it from scratch, whatever you prefer)! You’ll also need 2 containers of Cool Whip, 2 cups of strawberries, and 2 cups of blueberries!

This cake is SUPER easy to decorate, and you’ll have the most amazing dessert made in minutes! Put your store-bought cake on a plate and spread the Cool Whip on the cake. Then put strawberries and blueberries all over the layer of Cool Whip to decorate the cake how you’d like. Once fully covered, your cake is ready to serve. It’s SO easy!

Strawberry Angel Food Cake

Making desserts for my friends and family is seriously one of my favorite things to do. But over time I’ve realized, sometimes life gets a little too crazy to even try an elaborate recipe. I have to remind myself that it’s okay to use store-bought items to make it easier. In the end, nobody is going to remember you brought a semi store-bought dessert. They’re going to remember how delicious it was and the thought that went into it! What easy recipes are you adding to your 4th of July plans? I’d love to hear all about them in the comments below! Happy 4th of July!
