How to Make Dipped Strawberries

  1. Melt your white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave until they’re smooth and creamy.
  2. Next, dip each strawberry into the melted white chocolate, gently wiping away any excess on the side.
  3. Immediately dip the coated strawberry into your favorite 4th of July sprinkles.

That’s it! Let them set, and they’re ready to party hearty!

Talk about an Easy No Bake 4th of July Dessert!

Whether you call them dipped strawberries, chocolate-covered strawberries, or your new favorite festive treat, one thing’s for sure—they’re the ultimate no-bake dessert for your next patriotic party.

You know that old saying: “Call me whatever you want, just don’t call me late for dinner… I mean dessert!” And in this case, trust me—you really don’t want to miss these.

Dip Ideas to Try

While white candy melts and blue sprinkles are a classic (and perfect pantry staples!), you can totally get creative:

A woman in a red off-the-shoulder top holds a plate of decorated strawberries in a modern kitchen. Bowls of strawberries, blue sprinkles, and white chocolate are on the counter in front of her.

Storing Dipped Strawberries

To keep your chocolate-dipped strawberries looking and tasting their best:

Avoid freezing—fruit desserts like this can get mushy after thawing.

For same-day enjoyment: Store in a single layer on a parchment-lined plate at room temp, loosely covered.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 7 oz white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1/4 cup blue sanding sugar

Instructions

  • Clean the strawberries and pat dry.
  • Melt the white chocolate wafers in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval. Be careful not to overheat as the melted chocolate will harden and seize up.
  • Dip each strawberry about three-quarters of the way into the white chocolate, leaving a bit of red showing at the top. Let any excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
A hand with pink nail polish holds a strawberry partially dipped in white chocolate above a white bowl filled with melted white chocolate.
  • Dip the tip of the strawberry into a small bowl of sanding sugar.
A hand dips a white chocolate-covered strawberry into a bowl of blue sugar, creating a red, white, and blue treat. A striped cloth is visible in the background.
  • Place on parchment paper and let cool until white chocolate hardens.
  • Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

If your melted white chocolate melting wafers is too thick for dipping, just stir in a small amount of Crisco or vegetable oil to help thin it out.
