How to make Spring Flower Pretzel Bites

First, please disregard my super short nails. 😉 In all seriousness, first separate M&M’s by color to plan your flower designs. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange pretzels in a single layer. Place a candy melt on each pretzel. Bake at 225∘F for approximately 3 minutes, until the candy softens. Immediately press M&M’s into flower shapes on the melted candy, starting from the center. It’s seriously THAT easy!

How to Store Flower Pretzel Bites

Store decorated mini pretzel flowers in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days, or freeze in a freezer-safe bag for longer storage. Thaw at room temperature before serving.

plain pretzels arranged on a baking sheet
  • Plan Your Flowers: Divide the M&M’s by color. Create mock-ups of your desired flower designs to use as visual guides.
  • Place a candy melt on each pretzel snap.
process shot of pretzels with white candy melts on top
  • Bake in the oven for 3 minutes, or until the candy melts soften and begin to melt.
  • Create Flower Shapes: Remove the pretzels from the oven. Working quickly, press the M&M’s into the softened candy melts, starting from the center and arranging them to create flower shapes. The candy melts will begin to harden, so work efficiently.

  • Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator or freezer for 5 minutes to allow the candy melts to set completely.

Notes

Before melting the candy melts, arrange your M&M’s in flower shapes. This will help you work quickly once the candy melts are softened, as you’ll have a limited time to press the M&M’s into the melted chocolate before it hardens.
