I have made so many different versions of s’mores desserts from s’mores bars, s’mores sliders, to s’mores dip,  but this s’mores cookie recipe is one of my favorites!

S’mores cookies are so easy to make, especially since one of the main ingredients is homemade chocolate chip cookie dough!

Ingredients for making smores on a tray: a pack of chocolate chip cookies, several bars of Hersheys milk chocolate, a bowl of marshmallows, and a plate of graham crackers.

Ingredients to Make S’mores Cookies

Four ingredients almost sounds too good to be true, but all you do is layer the marshmallows, graham crackers, and Hershey’s chocolate, top with store-bought cookie dough, and bake.

Dessert shortcuts are one of my favorite kinds of desserts to bake. I love a dessert hack so much, I even have an entire chapter on grocery store dessert shortcuts in my new cookbook, Celebrating Every day!

How to Make S’mores Cookies

S’mores cookies are almost too easy to make! Preheat the oven and refrigerate the ingredients. Arrange graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows on a baking sheet. Cover each with cookie dough, then bake until golden brown and serve warm.

A baking tray lined with parchment paper holds five chocolate chip cookies. Each cookie has a melted marshmallow on top. The cookies are golden-brown and placed in an orderly arrangement on the tray.

How to Store S’mores Cookies

Room Temperature: To store s’mores cookies, let them cool completely and then place them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.

Pro Tip: When storing your s’mores cookies at room temperature, add a slice of bread or even a large marshmallow to your storage container or bag to help keep your cookies soft. Works like a charm every time!

Freezer: For longer storage, you can freeze the cooled s’mores cookies in a sealed container or freezer bag for up to 3 months.
